Welcome!
Happy New Year! It's shaping up to be a good one, with several stories submitted already.
(Authors, keep them coming! You've got a growing audience for your work right here!)
This month you get the final installment of Greg Camp's Windward Rock.
Marked for Death by Matthew Pizzolato is another good read, along with
Adrift Again, by Steve Whisnant. Craig Jones rounds things
out with an article about the U.S. Marshals Service.
On the lighter side, here's what could have been the first infomercial, if only it
had been written 150 years ago. Our thanks to Ruth Weeks for letting us use her
prize-winning flash fiction titled The Tale of Smokey & Harry Butts.
What's flash fiction? In this case, a story with ninety nine words or less. Short and fun!
All in all, this issue is a fine way to start off a new year. So kick back, relax, and enjoy!

New Authors
We know it's getting harder and harder to find someone who will publish your western
or historical stories. Well, if you're looking for an opportunity to get your
work shown, you've come to the right place. You give us a story, the right to publish your work online,
maintain it in our archives, and include it in a print reproduction, such as
in an anthology. We'll put it out there for the world to enjoy.
We're looking for well-written short stories. If you would like to submit one for publication, send it to
editor@frontiertales.com in the body of an email. No attachments, please.
Be sure to check our submission requirements.
